Plumbing Estimate & Quote
A plumbing estimate that separates materials from labor, lists every fixture and fitting by size and model, and spells out what is not included settles most pricing disputes before they start. This template covers the full structure a 20-year plumber expects (scope, itemized line items, allowances, exclusions, assumptions, payment schedule, warranty, and a dated validity window), so a price swing on copper, PEX, or a water heater doesn't quietly eat your margin. Download it as a PDF or Excel file, or build the same quote in Forz: itemized estimates pull from your catalog of materials and services, generate a no-login portal link where the customer reviews and accepts online, and convert straight into a job with the line items carried over.

This template is a starting point and is an estimate, not a binding contract or legal advice. Permit and license-display rules, mechanics-lien procedures, three-day cancellation notice requirements, taxability of labor and materials, and the adopted plumbing code all vary by state and jurisdiction; editions and locally adopted amendments differ, so verify scope, required disclosures, and frequencies with your AHJ and the adopted edition before you send. It does not replace work performed by qualified, licensed personnel. Confirm exact wording of any required cancellation or lien notice with counsel for your state.
