Yes. You configure a system type for each kind of work you do (intrusion, CCTV, access control, fire alarm), and each one gets its own custom fields. Every device belongs to a system and carries a barcode, a location description, and a device type that drives its inspection schedule. Device templates speed up repeated configurations, so standing up the same camera or reader setup across a large site goes quickly. When a service ticket comes in later, your technician sees exactly what's installed before rolling a truck.
You set the inspection frequency per device type, anywhere from daily and monthly through every 7 years, and the next due date is calculated automatically after each visit. Technicians record Pass, Fail, or Bypass results with photos from the field, and customers can download inspection PDFs from their portal. Technician certificates keep low-voltage licenses and factory training on each user profile, so dispatch can verify qualifications before assigning the work. Required test intervals vary by system and jurisdiction, so verify the cycles you configure with your AHJ and applicable codes.
That's what Projects are for. A project groups every estimate, job, task, purchase order, time log, expense, and invoice under one record, and jobs created from its Jobs tab link to it automatically. Its Finance tab shows billed, paid, and outstanding amounts next to labor and materials costs and the net. Stock levels track parts across warehouse and vehicle locations with the Advanced Inventory module. You can generate purchase orders straight from a sales order (with partial-fulfillment quantity adjustments), then record received quantities as gear arrives.
